Molecular Property Prediction via Fine-Tuned ML Models
Fine-tuned transformer-based models for molecular property prediction using chemistry domain knowledge. Applied domain-specific pre-training on chemical datasets to improve accuracy on downstream property tasks. Project led to an industrial lab role offer at IFFCO Dubai.
ASIC-Inspired Small Language Model (<1B Parameters)
Researched and prototyped a small language model architecture inspired by ASIC design principles — fixed-function, inference-optimised, with minimal parameter count. Explored quantisation and pruning strategies to achieve practical on-device performance without GPU dependency.
Network Attached Storage — Hardware + Software Prototyping
Designed and built a custom NAS device from scratch — hardware selection, OS configuration, RAID setup, and a self-hosted web interface for remote access. Explored Samba, NFS, and custom REST API layers for cross-platform file access. Documented the full build for open community reference.
